The house
East-facing, open to the water, with a protected patio at the center.
The layout
One house, built as 2 living spaces with a patio between them. The patio is shaded and sits out of the wind, so you can watch the action on the water even on the days it’s blowing hard.
The patio
Hammocks, bean chairs, and a barbecue.
The house sits slightly above beach level, so the patio gives you a front-row seat to whatever’s happening on the water while nobody walking past is looking in at you.
This is where people end up. Morning coffee, the middle of the day when the wind’s up, and again after dinner.
The living side
One open floor plan. The kitchen runs wide with a big island and bar stools along one side. Next to it, a teak dining table that seats 10. Past that, a sitting area with a couch that takes 6 without anyone perching, plus a couple of good chairs.
The entire front is floor-to-ceiling glass that slides away. Push it open and the living side becomes part of the beach.
A 65 inch TV with the cable channels, for the evening after a long day outside. There’s a fireplace out front for when everyone drifts back outside.
Sleeping
Both bedrooms run floor-to-ceiling glass along the entire front, and each has its own balcony.
The master has a king, a second wall of glass facing south down the bay, and a private walled outdoor shower off the bathroom.
The second bedroom has teak built-in bunks, 2 queens below and 2 twins above.
Each bedroom has a full bath with a walk-in shower. There’s a half bath on the living side.
The house faces east, so the sunrise reaches every room in it. Watching it come up over the water from bed is the thing people talk about long after they’ve gone home.
The kitchen
Built for people who actually cook.
High-end range, dishwasher, and a wine fridge.
Gear, pool and rinse-off
Lockable storage below the bedrooms, with board racks, hooks and a pump area.
The plunge pool sits right there too, seats 6, and there’s an outdoor shower next to it. So you come off the beach, rinse the gear, rack it, and get in the water without walking through the house.
The pool heats to 104°F and chills to 50°F, so it works in any season.
The practical stuff
A/C in every room. Parking on site.
Starlink throughout, with amplifiers around the house so the connection holds up in every room. Fast enough to work from here if you have to.
Washer and dryer, which you’ll use more than you expect after a week of salt water.
